Professional Experience
Colin’s principal areas of practice are in general corporate and commercial matters and cross-border investments and transactions. He is actively involved in the asset management and funds industry, and has advised clients on structuring and establishment of various fund structures and collective investment schemes (including unit trusts, exchange-traded funds listed on the SGX-ST, private equity limited partnerships, hedge funds, fund-of-funds, close-ended funds, business trusts and both retail and restricted Singapore and offshore funds) and other commercial agreements, including consortium agreements, shareholders’ agreements and reconstruction agreements as well as licensing and regulatory issues relating to the fund management industry, banking and insurance.
Colin is also a former member of the compliance sub-committee of the Investment Management Association of Singapore.

Boon Ming’s principal areas of practice are in conveyancing and property-related matters, such as purchases, mortgages, sales by private treaty, auction and tender, enbloc transactions, acquisition and sales of properties in the course of development, and housing development projects.
He also has relevant experience in general corporate and commercial matters.

Vincent’s principal areas of practice are in general litigation and corporate and commercial matters. He has advised on mergers and acquisitions, including joint ventures and venture capital funding, banking, intellectual property/technology and other corporate commercial matters. He has also experience in corporate finance work, including the listing of companies in Singapore and fund-raising exercises for listed companies.
As the Firm’s litigation partner, Vincent has advised on and provided services over a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters, both in the civil and criminal courts of Singapore.

Carmen’s principal areas of practice are in the asset management and funds industry. She has assisted local and offshore fund management companies with the establishment / formation, authorisation, recognition, listing, structuring, restructuring and/or winding-up of onshore and offshore retail and private collective investment schemes (including unit trusts, exchange-traded funds listed on the SGX-ST, hedge funds, closed-end funds, hybrid funds and real estate funds) in Singapore, as well as provided ongoing regulatory advice in connection with the offerings of such schemes and business conduct requirements for fund management companies in Singapore.
Carmen is presently a member of the Legal Committee of the Investment Management Association of Singapore and the Vice-Chairman of Binjai Neighbourhood Committee.
